Membership

Remember, one is not "officially" an Episcopalian until one has been Confirmed or Received by a Bishop. However, please know that this is not a "graduation" but more like a "matriculation." The Discovery Classes and Episco-basics classes are designed to give folk enough information such that one might feel comfortable in making an informed decision about becoming an Episcopalian. In other words, they're not a requirement in order to be Confirmed or Received. What's required is your desire, calling, and committment based on your own faith journey.

All Saints' has a Bishop visitation for Confirmations and Receptions twice a year. Once in the Spring and again in the Fall. If you feel like you have enough information about the Episcopal Church to be making an informed decision and would like to be presented for Confirmation or Reception into the Episcopal Church (one is "Received" if one has already made a public affirmation of faith as an adult in another denomination) please contact Father Mike Adams at 512-476-3589, ext 104 or .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

And, if you already are a Confirmed or Received member but would like to Re-affirm your faith with the Bishop, also let Fr. Adams know. This is often desireable for someone confirmed at a young age or for one who maybe has been apart from the church for a while, for example. But, it's also appropriate for one who is ready and willing to "re-commit."

Do know that any of our clergy will be glad to talk with you about Confirmation, Reception, or Reaffirmation!
