AN ADVENT SERVICE FOR THOSE GRIEVING A LOSS: DEC. 20
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it. — John 1:5
The Longest Night acknowledges grief during the holiday season and holds fast to the sure and certain hope of the coming Christ light. Hymns, special prayers, and Holy Eucharist create this hour-long worship service, reminding us that even in our darkest hour, on the longest night, God is with us.
Held on Friday, Dec. 20th (a day before the winter solstice) at 7pm in the Church, The Longest Night is open to all. It could be a profound blessing to your neighbor, friend, or co-worker. Please invite them to join you for this beautiful, healing service.
