12:05 Holy Eucharist with Unction on Wednesdays
All Saints' worship schedule includes a 12:05 Holy Eucharist with Unction every Wednesday.
This will be a casual service and, for those who wish, will include the sacrament of unction. Described in the Book of Common Prayer, "Unction is the rite of anointing the sick with oil, or the laying on of hands, by which God's grace is given for the healing of spirit, mind, and body" (p. 861).
The doors of the church will open approximately 15 minutes before service time. Worshippers will sit where the choir sits on Sunday, in the chancel. Without music, this service will last approximately 25-30 minutes. The first Wednesday of each month will be a Rite I service.
