Design Charrette Presentations: Sept. 20 at 2 PM & Sept. 22 at 9 AM
Partners for Sacred Places invited teams of local design professionals to participate in a design charrette at All Saints' Sept. 19-20th. The charrette focuses on our mid-century Gregg House and unifying the church campus.
On Friday, Sept. 20 at 2 p.m., design teams will present their concept sketches. All are invited. On Sunday, Sept. 22 at 9 a.m. at Adult Forum, Matt Davis and The Rev. Genevieve Razim will share about the charrette process and the conceptual drawings. Both take place in Kinsolving Parish Hall.
In 2023, All Saints’ worked with Partners to bring together a diverse array of community stakeholders to collaboratively envision programs and partnerships that align with All Saints’ mission. All Saints' conducted a similar process with parish ministry leaders in spring of 2024. As the parish looks towards a renovation of existing facilities, we would like to make building improvements in a way that maximizes our current footprint and unlocks new potential for programming priorities identified by the community and parish (including activating a roof space; hosting the arts; and more). The goal of the design charrette is to develop a range of creative concepts that will help the parish discern projects and priorities as a part of a capital campaign in 2025.
Partners for Sacred Places is the only national nonprofit focused on the future of older and historic religious properties. Among our programs and services is the National Fund for Sacred Places, in collaboration with the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
