Bridge Ministry
This is an Addiction Recovery Ministry
The Bridge Ministry Team provides a compassionate ministry to those who suffer from the disease of addiction by:
- Presenting education programs aimed at improving awareness of the disease of addiction.
- Offering confidential support to those who seek recovery for themselves or for their loved ones.
- Developing a library of resources and information on organizations to promote recovery.
- Participating in the celebration of personal growth and recovery. This is an Addiction Recovery Ministry
Team members are not counselors, but are a confidential link to community resources.
Addiction is a disease. In humble gratitude for God’s unconditional love, we reach out to the parish community to engage the hurting, point to direct help, nurture personal growth, and celebrate recovery. A healthy and healing congregation fosters open discussion of alcohol, drug, and other addictions without judgment.
Our support is confidential. Want to talk? We want to listen. Call one of us at your convenience.

O blessed Lord, you ministered to all who came to you...
Look with compassion upon all who through addiction have lost their health and freedom. Restore to them the assurance of your unfailing mercy; remove from them the fears that beset them; strengthen them in the work of their recovery; and to those who care for them give patient understanding and persevering love. Amen.
